If you're looking for a good relaxing game to take your mind off the stress of the world then go play Flur asap. While I put the genre as Action for Flur, it really isn't much action going on and is just a digital representation of a stress ball.
Not that that is a bad thing. On the contrary. The idea behind Flur, which was created in a three week challenge, is you're a spirit or fairy and you just fly around collecting green orbs or experience. That's it... It sort of reminds me of the Music Catch series. What I mean by this is just doing simple motions, no enemies around, just nice music, nice art work, and collecting orbs. Sounds simple yes, too simple? Perhaps. But like I said above, this is a great stress relieving game when combined with the great artwork and soothing music.
The game tries to implement another dimension of gameplay to actually sort of turn it into a game. After a while red orbs start showing up which if you touch they make you dissipate. To take care of these you have to collect all the green orbs surrounding the red orb and then the red orb bursts into a bunch of green orbs. This adds a little bit of gameplay into Flur and at least somewhat of a goal. There is also a long list of achievements to keep you wanting to play which works for me.
Overall, Flur is a very simple game but that doesn't mean it's a bad game. It's a nice break from some of the overly complicated games out there and is nice to just sit back and play a soothing game once in a while.
