Hanger 2 Flash Game Review

Link: Hanger 2
Developer: ASmallGame
Genre: Action
FlashMush Rating: 7.5/10

Hanger 2 is a game that I'm very surprised not many other games have copied the concept of. What I mean by this is the premise of Hanger 2 is essentially physics based Spiderman type gliding. You know swinging from rope to rope (or in his case web to web).

As you can see Hanger 2 is a sequel but it's a huge improvement from the original. Mainly in the graphics, they still aren't the best but they work for what the game is and if you've played the original you'll agree with me. Also the controls seem to be smoother and work better. The concept is still in my opinion hard to master but it's at least easier than before. Also an improvement is the inclusion of real levels and pretty nice level design. Very variable and not cliche.

With all that being said it still doesn't score that high on my rating scale as there isn't much to it. It's a fun action game and has a very interesting and surprisingly uniqueness but other than that it seems kind of plain and loses appeal fairly quickly.

  1. Haha, I like the analogy. Spiderman-like.

It's fun but it does get boring after awhile. Some may find the first levels frustrating just because you have to figure it out first. Then it gets fun, then boring. The upbeat music does give you a bit of an adrenaline rush though :P

    Try it out though!
