Feed Us 2 Flash Game Review

Link: Feed Us 2
Developer: WebCypher
Genre: Action
FlashMush Rating: 6.5/10

WebCypher is back with the sequel to Feed Us, aptly named Feed Us 2. So if you're hungry for some more blood shed and love piranhas, get to playing now!

If you remember my review for the original Feed Us you know that I gave it an 8/10 and praised it for it's creativity, I was however confronted about gameplay control issues which I kind of didn't touch in my review and ultimately I disregarded those concerns due to the innovativeness. However, with the second one among us I can't really ignore those issues any longer. As it is now, Feed Us 2 really is the same game as Feed Us...and not in a good way. The differences between the two are minuscule. The controls are the same, all the upgrades are the same and most of the graphics are the exact same. The big fault in this is the controls. Like people pointed out to me about the first Feed Us, the controls were touchy and therefore the piranha was hard to control. This problem was not addressed in the sequel and therefore has the same shortcomings.

In fact the only really difference is a larger playing area which is cut up by islands which actually just hide the swimmers making it impossible at times to feed and complete the challenges. The only other difference I found was more apparent level goals. But other than that it's the same game just...more glitchy due to the controls not being fixed and these island blockers. However, I did like the first Feed Us game so I will admit I had fun for a little bit playing the sequel, it just really added nothing new and therefore that's the reasoning for the score.

  2. Eh, I'll pass if it's that glitchy.

  3. I thought it was a pretty decent game. @Dwei - definitely worth a try.
Similar to Hungry Sharks on the App Store (used to play this all the time on my phone).

Sure, it's not the best game (or sequel) but it is pretty fun and isn't horrible and glitchy. I'd rather go with Fish Frenzy or Hungry Shark though.
