Super Mario Bros. Crossover 2.0 Flash Game Review

Going off of today's theme of retro crossover games, I have another new game to review: Super Mario Bros. Crossover 2.0! Imagine playing the original Super Mario Bros. but with Megaman. Or Link, or Samus. Well now you can.

Now, the idea of having a Super Mario Bros. crossover game like this certainly isn't unique and I'm not just talking about how this is 2.0. However, most other crossover games just do the bare minimum. May just have the different character sprites and maybe instead of shooting Mario's fireballs they shoot their traditional weaponry. Super Mario Bros. Crossover 2.0 is not like that at all.

Besides having an impressive character list of eight ranging from Mario and Luigi to Ryu, you have all your favorite classic characters being represented. Also, ExplodingRabbit took the elements from their respective games and fully placed them into this Super Mario Bros. crossover. I'm talking about Megaman having loads of different power suits, Samus dropping morph ball bombs and homing missiles, climbing walls, picking up blocks. If the characters could do it in their original games, they can do it in this game now.

Super Mario Bros. Crossover 2.0 really goes the extra mile to make sure these characters fit into the Mario Bros. world and just aren't new skins. I guarantee you will have a blast playing this over and over as different characters. Have fun!
